Our Basingstoke-based client has an interesting 6 month temporary contract in their friendly finance department. If you are a whizz on Excel and are knowledgeable on Pivot Tables and vLookups, then this Contract Administrator opportunity may be what you’re looking for. As a Contracts Administrator you will:

  • Enter and maintain all short term and long term rental contracts into the  in-house contract management system
  • Update contract records with changes including early and natural terminations and refinancing activity
  • Respond to questions and requests from regional teams
  • Respond to questions and requests from external customers and liaise with internal departments and regional teams as required to resolve
  • Provide a shared service for asset administration for business units using SAP
  • Reconcile between inter-company contract and asset systems to ensure accuracy, timeliness and consistency
  • Execute all month end processes including reporting
  • Support periodic reporting and analysis of the company’s portfolios

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of high volume data entry – the focus of this role is to ensure that the contract management and accounting systems are complete, accurate and up to date at all times
  • Use of Excel – reconciliations, reports and ad hoc analysis will make extensive use of Excel. Proposal details may be contained in Excel and ad hoc lease pricing calculations will use Excel. Functions in use will include vLookups, pivot tables, lease functions (+NPV, +PMT, +INT, +RATE) and graphs
  • Ability to learn and apply basic lease pricing principles – the role will need to check lease pricing on an ad hoc basis for example using Excel +RATE functions
  • Handle and resolve questions from internal and external customers in a way that inspires confidence in KFS
  • Ability to update multiple systems with the utmost accuracy and to follow processes and procedures exactly as written. The role will also require issues to be identified, understood and resolved and corrections made if required to all systems concerned
  • Requires effective oral and written communication with internal and external customers and may involve formal presentations. Presentations will require familiarity and use of MS PowerPoint including tables and graphs
