Marketing Executive required for IT company in Basingstoke. Up to 27k pa, lots of benefits including private health care, onsite parking and coffee shop and 22 days holiday rising to 25 with service.

Headed by the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Department plans, designs and implements marketing activities and campaigns across the entire Group. The Team consists of a Graphic Designer, Marketing Executive and E-commerce Executive and plays an integral part in the internal and external communication of the Group brand and its Go to Market capability. The Marketing Department is vital to ensuring the Business realises the maximum potential of its markets.

Based in Basingstoke, the Marketing Executive will have the opportunity to work under the wing of the Group Commercial Director who is passionate about promoting the Group’s excellence in delivering IT solutions. If you are a self-motivated, enthusiastic, bright and creative individual who can demonstrate experience in creating and delivering campaigns as well as identifying and implementing successful marketing strategies, then we want to hear from you! The successful candidate will be joining a core team of three, with the opportunity to develop within the role.

As a Marketing Executive you will be involved predominantly in the following areas:

  • Taking ownership of the Marketing Distribution Funds
  • Creating and implementing marketing strategies
  • Designing campaigns that will deliver incremental revenue
  • Website administration and updates across Group companies
  • Design of collateral, merchandise and presentations across Group companies
  • Design and collation of print and web advertisements across Group companies
  • Conducting ‘web-sweeps’ to optimise the company’s SEO, record sales opportunities and follow up
  • Social media updates for Group companies
  • Active involvement in the implementation, set-up and breakdown of group exhibitions

You’ll also be providing support for the following key tasks:

  • Assisting in the design and distribution of E-shots
  • Liaising with designers, suppliers and printers
  • Assisting with the production of the Group Internal Messaging
  • Checking proofs – artwork, merchandise, banners etc.
  • Communicating with Business Heads to understand their marketing and design requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to bring technical knowledge
  • A keen interest to develop marketing skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher
  • Experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Experience delivering social media content
  • Experience in website development
  • CIM diploma would be highly desirable
  • Ability to prioritise work load to meet the demands of the various business heads
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Team player work ethic; supporting colleagues when workload demands are high
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • An innovative and creative thinker
  • It will be desirable if you have the following: AdWords and SEO experience, experience using Muse and Dreamweaver (HTML5, CSS3 and Flash), knowledge of SAP development, any other Adobe CC particularly within video, photography and motion graphics (AfterEffects etc)

  • Basic salary 23 -27k pa + up to 4% profit related bonus paid quarterly (1% per quarter). A higher salary may be considered for an exceptional individual
