Sales Support professional required for IT company in Basingstoke. Up to 21k pa, lots of benefits including private health care, on-site parking and coffee shop and 22 days holiday rising to 25 with service.

Our client, a successful technology based company, is looking to take on an enthusiastic Sales Support to join one of their business units on a permanent basis. As the successful candidate, you will be undertaking support/admin core duties for multiple sales teams as required and be someone who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys the challenge of juggling a wide variety of tasks. You’ll be able to balance priorities, throughput and order processing accurately and ideally have a good working knowledge of SAP. As a SalesĀ Support, you be involved in the following:

  • Raising sales orders and associated purchase order requests
  • Checking and reporting on any issues associated with sales orders
  • Resolving queries either sales order or purchase order related in a timely manner
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure sales orders are dispatched with customers SLAs
  • SAP administration and reporting
  • Manage, organize and update relevant database applications
  • Collating telemarketing, sales and feedback reports
  • CRM reconciliation and management
  • Manage the contract renewal process
  • Administration support to the Sales teams
  • Supporting Sales at events/client visits
  • Client Account control including partners
  • SharePoint Management
  • Manage backed off contracts/suppliers

To succeed as a Sales Support, you’ll need the following Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally demonstrable experience of working within a fast paced sales support function in a medium to large enterprise
  • Strong MS Office skills especially Excel
  • Exceptional general administrative skills and good attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and a proactive approach to managing work priorities and deadlines
  • Highly motivated with ability to work under pressure
  • Be a team player but also have the ability to work independently and methodically
  • Ideally a good working knowledge of SAP
