Production Technician

This high profile Alton-based business is seeking a Production Technician to join their highly successful team as soon as possible on a Temporary to Permanent basis

As a Production Technician you will be:

• Working on a production line as a team and/or individually
• Operating machines to produce the product to specifications given
• Checking and monitoring products
• Filling and packing products
• Checking all labelling and paperwork is correct
• Regular housekeeping duties
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

To succeed as the Production Technician you will need:

• Previous experience working within a warehouse or production line is preferable but not essential
• An excellent attitude with good common sense
• Flexible to work in all areas of production
• A keen eye for detail
• A reliable and hard working work ethic

Associated Benefits:

• Temporary to Permanent role, salary starting at £8.75 then after 12 weeks up to £9 an hour
• 7.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday
• Pension Scheme (once 12 weeks completed)
• Health Insurance Scheme (once 12 weeks completed)
• All PPE will be provided

This role is working for a prestigious Manufacturing company in the Alton area that are seeking a candidate on a temporary to permanent basis to assist with making very specialist parts. This is on a rotating shift pattern and you will be required to assist with the rest of the Production team.

As the Production Operative you will be:

• Assisting the Manufacturing team to create the parts in a timely and efficient manner
• Working as part of a team
• Manufacturing specialist products within a work shop environment
• Supervising the workforce so that production is quick and smooth
• Able to start at short notice and happy to work on a rotating shift pattern

As the Production Operative you will have:

• Be physically able to do some heavy lifting up to 15-25kg
• Be self-motivated to produce high quality products
• Previous experience setting and operating machinery
• Previous production/manufacturing experience is essential
• Have a good standard of verbal/written English
• Have the ability to work with minimum supervision

• Monday to Friday 6am- 2pm but must be flexible

• Soldering of electronic components
• Operating light machinery and using a variety of hand tools

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Small scale assembly experience is essential
