As the Production Workshop Assistant you will be:

• Assisting in the production process as and where needed
• Assisting with goods in, stock rotation and deliveries

Machine Operator

IMMEDIATE START Temporary to permanent opportunity at a Manufacturing company in Alton paying £9 per hour.

This role is working for a prestigious manufacturing company in the Alton area that is seeking a candidate to assist with making very specialist parts. This is on a day shift pattern and you will be required to assist with the rest of the Manufacturing Team.

As the Machine Operator you will be:

• Operating rubber compression moulding machines
• Assisting the Manufacturing team to create the parts in a timely and efficient manner
• Working as part of a team
• Manufacturing specialist products within a work shop environment
• Able to start at short notice

As the Machine Operator you will have:

• Previous machine operating experience preferably in a rubber/plastics environment is a must have
• Be physically able to do some heavy lifting up to 15-25kg
• Be self-motivated to produce high quality products
• Previous experience setting and operating machinery
• Previous production/manufacturing experience is essential
• Have a good standard of verbal/written English
• Have the ability to work with minimum supervision

Assembly Operative

THE COMPANY:

An expanding company with a low staff turnover. You will be joining a small, committed and friendly team with the opportunity to share your knowledge whilst further developing your skill set.

THE POSITION:
Joining the team as an Assembly Operative, duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation and assembly of PCB boards
• Soldering of electronic components
• Operating light machinery and using a variety of hand tools
• Performing on line product testing and final inspection
• Labelling and packing of products including installation instructions

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Small scale assembly experience is essential
• Soldering experience is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

THE LOCATION:

Based in Alton. Accessible via public transport however own transport preferred.

ASSOCIATED BENEFITS:

• £8.72 per hour, weekly pay
• Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm with a 2pm finish on a Friday

• Adhering to all Tacho and DSA driving standards

To succeed as the Class 1 or 2 Driver you will need:

• A great positive attitude due to this being a customer facing role
• Must be a confident driver with a CPC licence
