Purchasing Administrator

£19000 - £21000 per annum
Are you a dynamic team player with superb administration skills? Up to 21k pa, 24 days holiday, 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday with on-site parking and a generous pension scheme.

As the Purchasing Administrator you will work in a varied role, providing proactive administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who aspires to develop their career within purchasing and work alongside buyers to purchase the best products for the business.

As the Purchasing Administrator you will be:

• Creating and validating product information
• Ensuring product availability and shipping timescales are updated regularly and all parties are informed of any updates
• Running reports and manipulating data
• Creating invoices and purchase orders
• Ensuring invoices, purchase orders and contact information is correctly processed
• Supporting the buyers with supplier liaison
• Working with other departments and coordinating multiple aspects in the running of the business
• Relaying information to customers

To succeed as the Purchasing Administrator you will need:

• To demonstrate exceptional organisational skills
• Proven experience within an Administrative role
• Exceptional attention to detail skills
• A good level of both written and verbal communication
• An ability to multi-task and be adaptable to changing demands and priorities
• To be keen to learn
• To be confident in direct customer communication
• To demonstrate reliability, resilience and dependability
• To complete tasks quickly and efficiently
• A strong team player but self-motivated and autonomous in approach

Associated Benefits:

• 19k - 21k pa
• Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm

• Producing 2D and 3D modelling of a very wide range of products
• Designing and develop a concept based on the customers’ specification
• Preparing dimensional drawings, assembly instructions and complex drawings of projects
• Developing catalogue products improving functionality while keeping costs low.
• Innovating new products that will aid the construction industry with their on-site tasks.
• Assembling the necessary files to create a product from start to finish
• Analysing and testing of products, carrying out load tests and function tests to ensure the sold product is a quality product.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will have:

• 2D and 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks)
• An engineering degree or similar qualifications or design experience
• Hydraulic, sheet metal or FEA experience would be highly desirable
• Knowledge of British Standards and designing products to meet these standards
• PDM experience within SolidWorks
• A passion to learn and develop your skills.

Associated Benefits:

• 25 - 28k pa depending on experience
• Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 6.45am - 4.45pm with a 1.45pm finish on Fridays
