We have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator who has strong attention to detail skills, can balance conflicting priorities, and ensure deadlines are met.

As the Logistics Coordinator you will be:

• Using the SAP system to process and review orders when passed from the sales team
• Communicating and responding to queries with other departments and companies within the group for specific customers
• Scheduling all orders with the warehouse team for processing and dispatch
• Managing the bookings of goods out and arranging courier collections
• Creating problem logs and resolving non-compliance issues
• Conducting stock movements and inventory counts
• Ensuring goods out are processed and completed with specific requirements in a timely manner

To be successful as the Logistics Coordinator you will need:

• Strong organisational skills and an ability to forward plan
• To be an effective communicator both verbal, written and numerical
• Exceptional attention to detail skills
• The ability to multitask and adapt to changing demands and priorities
• To be proficient in MS Office Applications and SAP although not essential
• Demonstrable team leadership qualities but also an ability to work well as part of a team
• To adhere to strict working deadlines and delivery requirements
• An ability to interpret customer requirements into practical solutions

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be:

• Producing 2D and 3D modelling of a very wide range of products
• Designing and develop a concept based on the customers’ specification
• Preparing dimensional drawings, assembly instructions and complex drawings of projects
• Developing catalogue products improving functionality while keeping costs low.
• Innovating new products that will aid the construction industry with their on-site tasks.
• Assembling the necessary files to create a product from start to finish
• Analysing and testing of products, carrying out load tests and function tests to ensure the sold product is a quality product.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will have:

• 2D and 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks)
• An engineering degree or similar qualifications or design experience
• Hydraulic, sheet metal or FEA experience would be highly desirable
• Knowledge of British Standards and designing products to meet these standards
• PDM experience within SolidWorks
• A passion to learn and develop your skills.

Associated Benefits:

• 25 - 28k pa depending on experience
• Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 6.45am - 4.45pm with a 1.45pm finish on Fridays
