Service Administrator

This role is to support the Service Manager and colleagues in the organisation of the administrative functions of the service and repair departments both internally and for field based engineers. This role is a multi-tasking role that would require excellent communication skills, organisational skills, computer literacy and some awareness of engineering terminology.

As the Service Administration Assistant you will be:

• Assisting the service manager processing orders via SAP and utilising the CRM system
• To assist the Service Manager in maintaining the service department quality manual & procedures in line with the requirements of ISO9001.
• Updating the service department quality manual in accordance with CRM & ERP systems.
• Developing your understanding of the company and supporting other members of the department in a variety of functions.
• Advising customers on the spares, servicing and
• Input orders and service sheets and file these on SAP or the CRM system.
• Providing a level of customers that will enable customers to arrange loans of equipment, issuing quotations and invoicing for spares / repairs / service contracts
• Liaising with customers and the repair department on workload and lead times
• Organise and maintain the computer based engineer service schedule.
• Maintaining and Coordinating Measurement Machine (CMM) service records throughout the filing system and the CMM service database.
• Flexibility to learn core duties of other roles within the department to be able to provide support at times of high demand/holiday cover etc.

As the Service Administration Assistant you will need:

• Strong administration skills alongside exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills through the means of telephone and email
• Highly IT literate and preferably experience with SAP and a CRM system, although not essential
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programmes especially work and Excel
• Good written and communication skills and exception attention to detail skills
• High levels of organisation skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
