Customer Account Manager

The Customer Account Manager will be employed by our service parts business which provides critical components to end users around the world, this is a revenue generating role. This role is a full time Monday to Friday role.

As the Customer Account Manager you will be:

• Receiving customer inquiries, preparing and releasing quotations.
• Optimizing margins through developing selling prices and interpret technical and commercial requirements.
• Ensuring that special requirements are communicated and agreed by the affected departments.
• Ensuring high quality service is reflected at all times when resolving conflicts with the client and / or with other departments.
• Highlighting and resolving any quality requirements.
• Ensuring the oracle parts prices, delivery information, order data and data entries are inputted accurately on the system.
• Ensuring accuracy of printed quotations and orders match against customer requirements.
• Issuing, maintaining and administering blanket pricing agreements.
• Updating customer records and ensuring that credit management guidelines are followed.
• Ensuring organisation and completeness of quotation until orders are received and acknowledged.
• Regularly reporting to management on quotation activity levels and maintain records.

As the Customer Account Manager you will need:

• Good GCSE qualifications for Maths and English
• Several years’ customer service experience ideally gained in a manufacturing or service environment (technical and commercial exposure).
• Experience with an ERP system (Oracle EBS an advantage)
• Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent organisation skills to work to strict deadlines and changing priorities
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
• An ability to deliver excellent attention to detail skills.
• Passion and enthusiasm to work well in a team as well as to your own initiative.
