Experienced Administrator required for small company on the outskirts of Basingstoke specialising in supplying the health care and pharmaceutical industry. 18 - 22k pa, full time.

As the Administrator you will be supporting the busy validation team, completing general administration duties and basic technical tasks.

Your responsibilities as the Administrator will include:

• Shipping and coordinating deliveries to our customers and field staff.
• Filing , archiving and updating customer records both electronically and via hard copies.
• Numerous IT centred tasks such as programming and downloading data loggers.
• Preparing, managing and tracking equipment.
• Other ad-hoc tasks such as ordering, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
• Other tasks as your experience and skills grow. This could involve visiting to customers’ sites or calibrating and maintaining test equipment.
• Communicating with customers via phone and email.
• Following written procedures, acting responsibly & ethically, and keeping accurate records.


To succeed as the Administrator you will need the skills and experience listed below:

• Experience of working in quality systems or an ISO9001 accredited company would be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and an ability to learn new IT skills.
• Able to relay customer requests/information accurately, clearly and concisely back to the team members.
• High levels of organisation and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• A willingness and ability to learn and develop your skills and experience.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise your work load and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with a polite, clear and confident telephone manner.
• Whilst there are some technical aspects to this role no previous experience is necessary as fully training will be given.

As a Field Sales and Service Representative you will be:

• Working alongside management on campaigns and proposals for special clients
• Researching and identifying prospects and/or using research supplied by the team and creating an effective overall sales plan and strategy

• Visiting customer sites and changing their displays as per schedule
• Offering customers display choices suitable for their premises and in line with their tastes and preferences in style and colour

As the Field Sales and Service Representative you will need:

• The ability to build good customer relationships by providing an excellent customer experience
• Previous experience within a similar or relatable role desired but not essential
• A full, preferably clean UK drivers licence
• The ability to adapt to new IT systems
• To be fit and able to carry a large number of flower displays daily
• To have a positive attitude and resilience
• To be a good communicator, written and verbal
