Sales / Administration Assistant

£20000 - £25000 per annum
20-25k pa, BUPA, flexible hours, free parking and up to 26 days holiday per year.

Although a small operation in Basingstoke, this company is part of a larger US based company. Assisting the sales manager (who is rarely in the office) you will be supporting him with all his admin plus calling new and current customers to set up appointments for the sales manager or introduce new products. You'll also be involved in shipping out their products to customers - if you've already got this experience, that's fantastic, if not, then training will be provided (but will be reflected in your offered salary)

Please note that warm and cold calling is a required element to this role.

As the Sales / Administration Assistant you will be:

• Supporting the remotely based sales manager with administrative tasks
• Maintaining and updating the in-house sales system
• Sending out quotations
• Cold calling to introduce the company's products and setting up appointments for the sales manager
• Contacting existing customers to maintain interest and possible further sales and service cover
• First point of contact for telephone calls and receiving visitors
• Responsible for shipping - import / export (training will be provided)
• Processing orders
• Sending out sales forecasts to international resellers and collating the returns
• Working with the US marketing department to promote product range
• Attending trade shows to assist sales manager – possibly overnight stays

To succeed as the Sales / Administration Assistant you will have:

• Previous administrative / sales support experience
• Ability to work on your own initiative and be self motivated as the manager is rarely in the office
• Ability to handle changing priorities
• IT literate - experience of using Salesforce is highly desirable
• Import/export experience is highly advantageous
• Excellent organisational skills
• A strong, confident nature
• Previous experience of working in a small company would be advantageous

Customer Service Representative

A well-known high street brand is looking for Customer Service Representatives to help with the influx of orders and enquiries coming in by phone and email. A brand you'll feel proud to represent, you'll get full product and process training so you're fully equipped to handle all incoming queries, Central Basingstoke location in a modern, airy office with fun break out facilities like a pool table! 7.5 hours per day on a rota basis between the hours of 8am - 6pm.

Joining a friendly but busy HR team at a luxury goods company, you will be managing the monthly payroll process for c.400 employees (some overseas), including liaising with third party payroll provider. As well as having superb attention to detail and accuracy, you also need to have an eye for process improvements as you'll be tasked with finding ways of improving payroll and HR systems and processes. General HR administrative duties will also be required such as administrating various employee schemes, generating letters and maintaining employee records and files

As the Payroll and People Administrator you will be:

• Managing the monthly payroll process, from submission to third party payroll provider to approval of final pay file
• Supporting employees with pay queries and e-payslip queries
• Administering the cycle to work scheme, childcare voucher scheme and other Company schemes
• Maintaining the People systems (both Success Factors and SAP) data integrity and running period end processes - with the support of the Applications Support Analyst

As the Internal Technical Support you will:

• Prioritise and perform technical assessments of customer’s provisional drawings, layouts and calculations
• Liaise with Engineers and Sales Team to enable the sales department to respond to requests for quotations from an international customer base

• Maintain product reference lists
• Produce and maintain standardised professional quotation templates
• Provide general product support to the sales team

• Previous experience in a technical sales environment (desirable)
