CAD Design Engineer

CAD Design Engineer. Up to 35k PA, 22 days holiday + BH, Private Healthcare- Fantastic growing company!

As the CAD Design Engineer you will:

• Creation of 3D CAD models, technical drawing packs and BOM’s using Inventor
• Creation of site and retail surveys
• Translation of 2D and 3D conceptual designs into working production drawings
• Creation of technical sketches for rapid quotations
• Accurate translation of design to technical within fixed production budget
• Liaison with other group engineering teams to ensure the sharing of innovations, initiatives and efficiencies
• Estimating, planning and prioritizing engineering workloads when required
• Liaison with group manufacturing and suppliers regarding production techniques
• Liaison with model making during the prototype stage
• Liaison with designers and projects managers on project details
• Client facing contact as technical engineer
• Other duties as recognized necessary by the Head of Engineering

To succeed as CAD Design Engineer, you will have:

• Good working knowledge of using Inventor / Autocad / Solidworks
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Excellent eye for detail
• Flexibility in regards to occasional travel as required
• Good team player
• Full UK driving license

• Have experience in managing electronics projects for serial production
• Knowledge in App building in standard electronic equipment
• Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Excellent eye for detail
• Preferably knowledge of how to build Apps and IT
• Flexibility in regards to occasional travel as required
• Good team player
• Full UK driving licence

Account Manager

Project Manager (Design & Manufacturing)

£30000 - £50000 per annum

Project Manager. Up to 40k pa, private healthcare, free parking, plenty of development opportunities as well as working with some of the biggest and exciting global brands. Based in Camberley, working within a forward-thinking, proactive and growing company within the Manufacturing Design industry.

This role reports into the Operations Team Project Leader and is often varied and fast paced. You will be part of a small multi-disciplined team delivering projects to clients from design through to completion.

As the Project Manager (Design & Manufacturing) you will:

• Develop and evolve quality point of sale equipment and services from initial briefings and concepts maintaining design integrity and best practice
• Create accurate costings of point of sale equipment and services from technical drawings, sketches and concepts
• Procure and manage the production of point of sale equipment from our group manufacturing facilities and outsourced partners keeping to agreed timescales, budgets and quality levels
• Liaise with group manufacturing facilities ensuring accuracy of communication to ensure that expectations are understood
• Liaise with design and engineering teams
• Responsible for reporting project status to the client team and project leader
• Responsible for maintaining and improving pre-determined budgets for the procurement of point of sale equipment and services exceeding expectations where possible
• Manage the retail installation process either via third party suppliers or our own installation teams. These duties may include the necessity of site visits to monitor progress and lend assistance where required
• Maintain processes regarding health and safety by conducting risk assessments on all units that are manufactured before delivery to the end user and to report concerns to the Project Leader for further analysis
• Manage the quality control process during manufacture via site visits and arrangement of our own internal quality control personnel

To succeed as the Project Manager (Design & Manufacturing) you will have:

• A proven track record of project management preferably within the POS or related industry
• A sound understanding of manufacturing processes and materials and would be able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Full driving licence
• The flexibility to travel the UK with occasional EU travel
• Experience within Manufacturing and Engineering environments
• Experience with MRP systems
