Client Support Manager

Priority Appointments are supporting an industry leading company to obtain a forward thinking, problem solving Client Support Manager. You will need to demonstrate proactive thinking and problem solving from a senior operational level.

Our client is a thriving business in the engineering industry and are continuing to grow. To thrive in this organisation it is vital to think strategically, remain calm while working in a time sensitive environment and operate ethically; ensuring company and personal values are never compromised.

The Client Support Manager will:

• Proactively problem solve and identify pinch points within the customer journey ensuring a seamless experience
• Support the sales department in all elements of administration
• Ensure meticulous response and storage of all correspondence and enquiries on the internal CRM system
• Proactively problem solve and work off individual initiative, allowing efficient and focused work synergy

To succeed as the Client Support Manager it is essential to:

• Have a can-do, problem solving attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work ethically with a customer centric mind-set while ensuring financial viability
• Possess exceptional, clear communication skills both written and verbal with unfaltering accuracy and attention to detail
• Understand IT systems and programmes
• Have an interest or understanding of the construction industry
• Be comfortable working 7.30am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be:

• Producing 2D and 3D models of a broad spectrum of products
• Designing and developing concepts based on customers’ specification
• Preparing dimensional drawings, assembly instructions and complex drawings of projects
• Developing catalogue products improving functionality while keeping costs within budget
• Innovating new products that will aid the construction industry with their on-site tasks
• Assembling the necessary files to create a product from start to finish
• Analysing and testing of products, carrying out load tests and function tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will have:

• 2D and 3D CAD experience with Solidworks
• An engineering degree or similar qualifications or design experience with 2 years work experience
• Hydraulic, sheet metal or FEA experience would be highly desirable
• Knowledge of British Standards and designing products to meet these standards
• PDM experience within Solidworks
• A passion to learn and develop your skills.

Associated Benefits:

• 25 - 28k pa depending on experience
• Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 6.45am - 4.45pm with a 1.45pm finish on Fridays
