Commercial Manager

Exciting opportunity to join a highly successful company in Andover to manage and develop a portfolio of agency brands and exceed the budgeted gross budget.

As the Commercial Manager you will:

• Manage and develop the business across a portfolio of agency brands
• Formulate the Company Marketing Plan for a portfolio of brands and ensure that it is implemented on time, to budget and delivers the set results
• Ensure that agency principals have full input into the marketing plan and that joint objectives are agreed and achieved
• Recommend the most appropriate brand strategies, then implement once agreed, to include ranging, pricing and margin
• Manage the Advertising and Promotion spend on each of the brands within agreed budgets
• Liaise with Demand Planners on forecast exceptions and any product supply issues
• Develop brand/category presentations to effectively communicate brand propositions
• Present to the salesforce and to customers where appropriate, major marketing activity/brand plans
• Ensure sound relationships are maintained with all agency principals and that quarterly reviews are conducted outlining issues and actions required to ensure the company deliver against expectations
• Work closely with Logistics to ensure a smooth transition of all goods into and dispatched from the business
• Attend exhibitions to promote those brands

To succeed as the Commercial Manager you will have:

• ‘Hands on’ experience as a Brand manager within an FMCG setting
• A background in Marketing
• Good planning, analytical and organisation skills
• A confident, assertive and resilient attitude
• High numeracy and be computer literate
• Creative problem solving skills
• Commercial awareness key to achieving budgeted results
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

CAD Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, dynamic and growing company with a blue chip customer base in UK and international markets. We are looking for a self-motivated, talented and enthusiastic CAD Technician to join the team. You will be responsible for creating CAD models using Solidworks with creating product data sheets, installation instructions, engineering drawings and sample reports. The role offers the opportunity to work within a product sector that rapidly evolves and changes

As the CAD Technician, you will be:

• Creating CAD models using Solidworks based on concepts produced by our design team or CAD models based on our existing products.
• Creating engineering drawings using CAD models supplied by our Product Design team.
• Creating instruction leaflets using Solidworks Composer and Adobe InDesign.
• Producing data sheets of new and existing products for our Trade customers.
• Producing sample reports of products designed by our Design team to communicate issues to the vendor.
• Monitoring project milestones to meet scheduled launch dates using Smartsheet software in conjunction with Product management.
• Liaising with suppliers, internal and external customers during the design phase of the project.
• In control of drawings and product specifications for ISO9001 purposes.
• Creating technical reports.
• Inputting into existing technical support documentation, including product specifications and product data sheets.


As the CAD Technician, you will need:

• Excellent written English language skills.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office.
• A technical/engineering background.
• To be competent and experienced in Solidworks and Composer.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• A logical approach to problem solving and manufacturing limitations of design projects.
• To be experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign).
