We have a fantastic opportunity with one of our Andover based clients for a Contracts Administrator.

Working in a busy, vibrant, friendly small team, you will be dealing with orders and queries from customers and following them through to completion. Starts ASAP!

As the Contracts Administrator you will be:

• Generating quotations from the in house computer system for hire products
• Handling inbound calls
• Monitoring and actioning emails
• Supporting the sales team in all aspects of contracts administration

As the Contracts Administrator you will have:

• Previous experience in an office-based customer service environment
• Accuracy with excellent attention to detail and Microsoft proficiency
• Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
• A proven communicator with excellent telephone skills
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work under pressure to tight deadlines

As the Packaging Technologist you will:

• Undertake the design, development and implementation of both retail and transit packaging for new and existing products
• Ensure that packaging is simple to manufacture and assemble, is cost effective, utilises the minimum amount of material and is designed to take into account advances in eco-friendly materials
• Consider legislative requirements to ensure that packaging environmental and legal responsibilities are fulfilled
• Setting a programme of reviewing all packaging used on existing products that ensures the above requirements are met. Where necessary consider a “remove” or “replace” philosophy
• Liaise with all stakeholders and departments ensuring compliance externally/internally with Vendors/Customers to determine design viability and suitability
• Introduce and implement where applicable new innovations/technologies that ensures the business is at the forefront of environmentally friendly packaging
• Carry out physical testing of packaging and supervise and control ‘off site’ testing
• Implement continuous improvement.

To succeed as the Packaging Technologist you will need:

• Minimum 3 years relevant packaging experience
• Knowledge of ISTA packaging standards
• Technical understanding and ability to design packaging structures for 1) small to large products, 2) fragile and breakable products such as mirrors and glass, 3) unusual and awkwardly shaped products
• High level of competency in appropriate packaging design software
• Keeps abreast with new packaging innovation and technologies
• Demonstrable problem solving skills
• A hands on approach and the ability to create hand cut prototype designs
• The ability to convey information clearly and concisely
• An understanding and appreciation of sustainable packaging design and the importance of adopting a “cradle to grave” approach
• Experience in mail order packaging is desirable
• An eye for detail and be someone who strives for perfection

Office Administrator

£27000 - £30000 per annum

Up to 30k is on offer to a team-spirited, hands on individual, whose can-do attitude means that no task is too big or too small.

Our client is a small family-owned company in Andover and as with lots of small companies, being a team player is paramount because you'll need to roll your sleeves up and help out where needed!

As the Office Administrator your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

•First contact for customers and suppliers on the telephone and online
•Using SAP software (this will be changing to Sage 200 next year) to create quotes, order confirmations, delivery notes, purchase orders and invoices
•Arranging carrier pick-ups for UK and EU
•Dealing with all necessary administration duties including filing, scanning, shredding, copying
•Picking and packing parts for customer orders and engineers if required
•Raising service paperwork for engineers
•Answering incoming telephone calls
•Greeting visitors
•Checking deliveries in/goods received
•Ensuring stock levels are maintained at the right levels

To succeed as the Office Administrator you will need:

•Strong organisation and multi-tasking skills
•Ability to work well in a team and as well as the ability to work using your own initiative
•Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on all levels
•A strong eye for detail
•A flexible and adaptable attitude and enjoy working in a small team and get involved in whatever is required!
