E-Commerce Manager

HYBRID role. Our client in Basingstoke is looking for an E-Commerce Manager to join their company! Up to 50k plus bonus, 22 days holiday and corporate gym membership available!

The E-commerce Manager is a new role focussing on our clients products and services site content, SEO, day-to-day trading performance, commercial efficiency and delivering superior customer experience.

The ideal candidate will take an organised approach to manage the client's online and catalogue inventory, liaise with the business unit directors, sales teams and marketing to help design appropriate product catalogues and to promote via digital marketing campaigns to increase their digital sales and presence.

As the E-Commerce Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the online inventory to ensure online catalogues are functioning optimally and accurately
• Becoming the E-Commerce specialist, monitoring day-to-day trading performance, user access and generating product sales data
• Supporting the sales team as the e-commerce champion
• Developing campaigns to increase digital sales, working closely with sales teams to ensure alignment with sales plan
• Delivering KPIs including conversion rate, SEO rankings, average order value and customer lifetime value
• Optimising campaigns to increase traffic to the websites and procurement portals
• Managing the online business presence through the website, social media and e-commerce platforms
• Monitor changes in sales and market pricing, identify key indicators and create reports to measure the impact of E-commerce activity for review
• Working with various teams in a dynamic and open environment
• Developing strategic relationships with key vendors to take advantage of their knowledge for competitive advantage
• Developing relationships with third party framework portal owners to maximise the use of their facilities

To succeed as the E-Commerce Manager you will have:

• A degree relevant to business management
• Proven experience and knowledge to influence and deliver E-commerce strategy
• Capable of building and maintaining key relationships with internal stakeholders
• Demonstrable Commercial experience
• Experience managing digital product inventory
• Demonstrable experience in E-commerce, with experience in using E-commerce technology
• Excellent analytical and database skills to create powerful data and experience in creating sales and analysis reports
• Experience using web analytics and optimisation tools to optimise campaigns.
• Experience of Marketing.
• Knowledge and experience of working with the vendors
• Previous experience working in the IT industry

• Relevant qualifications in Accounting/Bookkeeping

The Role – what you’ll be doing as our Finance Manager

• Processing and managing the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, credit control and other transactions

• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise accordingly
