Key Account Sales Manager

£25000 - £30000 per annum
Key Account Sales Manager opportunity! Fantastic benefits of up to 30k pa salary with OTE of 40k pa, 25 days holiday, critical illness cover, discretionary annual performance related bonus and free parking!

Want to work for an expanding European organisation who have a brand new requirement in their Aftermarket department team? In this fast-moving position, you will be responsible for revenue from the sales of Contracts, Hire and Training to new and existing customers.

As the Key Account Sales Manager you will be:

• Developing a strategy of how to best support the sales of the Aftermarket products
• Visiting customer sites to review performance of existing contracts, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, cross-selling and working with the wider sales team to maximise market share
• Creating a deliverable sales plan and identifying sites for new business opportunities
• Maximising the retention of existing service contract revenue
• Developing and enhancing the Aftermarket products in line with the business strategy and market requirements
• Preparing and following up on customer proposals to generate new business
• Promoting the service offering and working closely with the other internal functions to ensure Aftermarket (contracts, hire and training) revenue is maximised
• Maintaining pricing levels and margins
• Updating the CRM system to ensure data is accurate, relevant and up to date
• Providing information in a timely manner for invoicing
• Providing feedback on competitor activity and market developments to the wider sales teams

To succeed as the Key Account Sales Manager you will need:

• Experience of sales and working within a commercial environment
• An understanding and experience in the Food Industry is preferred but not essential
• A positive and hands-on approach
• A proven track-record in partnering with customers in a technical sales role
• A demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets
• To be self-organised with an ability to manage a busy schedule and workload
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• An exceptional understanding of IT systems such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
