Priority Appointments is proud to be assisting this expansive and tenacious import and export Distribution Company based in Thatcham to find a motivated and enthusiastic Electronics Quality Inspector.

As an Electronics Quality Inspector., no two days will be the same as this company offers a diverse workload with plenty of scope for development and progression. This company is going through a period of growth and as such there is a sustainable workload offering job security.

As an Electronics Quality Inspector:

• Logging all information on bespoke computer system
• Correctly identifying faults with products and communicating with suppliers via email to resolve the issues
• Using Electronic test equipment to investigate any defects
• Other duties as trained and explained

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous Quality inspection skills
• Good computer skills including use of email
• Flexible attitude to work, happy to work overtime when required

In return for loyalty and service the Electronics Quality Inspector will be offered:

• £10 - £11 per hour (Saturdays paid at time and a half)
• Guaranteed hours (Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 5.00pm and Fri 8.30am to 4.30pm)
• 25 days holiday (once perm)
• Company pension scheme (once perm)
• On-site parking

Due to the remote location of this role it is essential to be a driver with full access to a reliable vehicle.

Looking for a autonomous role, no weekends and an on-site canteen with a friendly family feel team, if so this PCB Assembler role may be for you!

Due to an ever expanding client base this well established Electronic Manufacturing company are looking to secure a PCB Assembler to meet their production needs. With no two days being the same in this bespoke, low volume production organisation, a positive work attitude is a must.

The successful PCB Assembler will take ownership of the full life cycle of producing components, including:

• Through hole soldering
• Placing small electrical components on boards by hand
• Using Hand Print Solder Paste to secure components
• Inspection of final products

We would welcome hearing from anyone with direct PCB Assembly experience or from a Manufacturing or Production back ground, who can:

• Follow precise instructions/interpret technical drawings
• Comfortably prioritise and complete tasks to the highest level
• Can solder to a competent standard or eager to learn

In return the PCB Assembler will be offered:

• £19,000-21,000 P/A
• 20 days holiday (raising by 1 year every year, (capped at 5 years)) + 8 days bank holiday

While this role offers a breath of variety the successful Goods in Inspector will:

• Carry out inspection on inwards goods, ensuring they meet specification
• Identify non-conformities and escalate/document appropriately
• Liaise and support internal stakeholder departments when needed
• Follow all company and legislative policies and procedures.

We are interested in connecting with anyone from a Stores, Goods-in or Warehousing background, who have:

• Experience reading and understanding Mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of MRP and/or ERP systems
• Computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office packages)
• A good working attitude and demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety.

• Keep work station clean, safe and tidy at all times
• Follow all company and legislative procedures.

We are interested in connecting with established IPC Operatives or anyone from an electronics background, who have:

• Hand soldering experience
• The ability to plan and prioritise work
• A positive and proactive attitude to work
• Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety.

• A salary of £19,700 (Monday to Thursday 0830-1700 and Friday 0830-1530)
