We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative on a temp-to-perm basis. The role is to work in a small and busy team carrying out a variety of assembly functions. Full training will be provided.

As an Assembly Operative you will be:

• Working in a close team providing a variety of assembly functions
• Assembly functions include: cutting, pining, general assembly, shrink wrapping, specialist assembly, pick and pack, despatch
• Machine operating
• Inspecting the quality of the products before despatch
• Working to a very high standard of quality and pride
• Being a team player and working industriously

As an Assembly Operative you will need:

• Must have a background in Assembly or Production
• Experience in using certain tools is not essential
• Excellent eye for detail is required
• Dexterous
• Takes extreme pride in work
• Excellent work ethic

Due to high workloads we are seeking a Production Operative who is physically fit, proactive, attentive and highly motivated. The majority of this role involves working with delicate and intricate parts, which will require controlled force to effectively assemble.

As the Production Operative you will be:

• Quality inspecting and testing components and finished products
• Unpacking and packing shipping containers
• Securely packing finished products ready for dispatch
• Loading of vehicles

While it is advantageous to have some assembly or production experience – training can be given to a candidate with a good work ethic and committed attitude.

As the Production Operative you will be offered:

• £18,500 per annum
• Consistent working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 Monday - Friday 1 Hour for lunch
• 25 days holiday per year – rising to a maximum of 28 days after 3 years
• Eligible for membership of Healthcare Scheme after completing 1 years’ service (Includes, Health, Optical & Dental)
• Eligible for membership of the Workplace Contributory Pension Scheme (Employee 5% / Employer 3%)
