Our client is a new, diverse company which is embedded in the Geospace sector and they are going through a strategic growth phase! Due to this they are looking for a Junior Manufacturing Technician to start immediately!
The Successful Manufacturing Technician will be:
• Electroplating
• Using a laser machine
• Using assembly jigs, learning a variety of soldering techniques including hand soldering and vapour soldering.
• Receiving full in house training!
The Successful Manufacturing Technician will need to be:
• An entry level candidate, with good GCSES or A - level (or equivalent)
• Interested in building a career in hi-tech electronics and has a interest in Physics or Chemistry.
• Adaptive, Calm and confident.
• Has great attention to detail.
Associated Benefits include:
• Monday-Friday 08.30-5.30pm
• Paying £10ph, pay increase after 3 months.
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Temp to perm position
• Christmas and summer party's!

Priority Appointments is proud to be assisting this expansive and tenacious import and export Distribution Company based in Thatcham to find a motivated and enthusiastic Electronics Quality Inspector.
As an Electronics Quality Inspector., no two days will be the same as this company offers a diverse workload with plenty of scope for development and progression. This company is going through a period of growth and as such there is a sustainable workload offering job security.
As an Electronics Quality Inspector:
• Logging all information on bespoke computer system
• Correctly identifying faults with products and communicating with suppliers via email to resolve the issues
• Using Electronic test equipment to investigate any defects
• Other duties as trained and explained
Preferred Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous Quality inspection skills
• Good computer skills including use of email
• Flexible attitude to work, happy to work overtime when required
In return for loyalty and service the Electronics Quality Inspector will be offered:
• £10 - £11 per hour (Saturdays paid at time and a half)
• Guaranteed hours (Mon-Thurs 8.30am to 5.00pm and Fri 8.30am to 4.30pm)
• 25 days holiday (once perm)
• Company pension scheme (once perm)
• On-site parking
Due to the remote location of this role it is essential to be a driver with full access to a reliable vehicle.
