The successful Procurement Administrator will be providing administrative assistance to the procurement department as well as:

• Placing of Purchase Orders, monitoring stock levels of low level/ own use consumable purchases and ensuring consistency of availability at point of use.
• New supplier set up from research, capacity and capability investigation, compliance administration, initial cost comparison and setting up on system.
• Booking transport and ensuring timely delivery.
• Organising returns/ replacement of damaged, faulty, unfit for purpose product or service.
• Choosing product ranges for low level spend and consumables
• Checking that goods and services are fit for purpose and meet with the organisation’s requirements

To excel as a Procurement Administrator your attitude is more important than your previous experience however, it is essential to be:

• Comfortable with planning and prioritising work and demands whilst working to a deadline in a fast paced environment
• Confident with negotiations
• Able to lead conversations across all levels in a professional manner
• Self-motivated and confident with excellent IT and communication skills
• Open to learning business process

Associated Benefits:

• Hours of work: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be:

• Producing 2D and 3D models of a broad spectrum of products
• Designing and developing concepts based on customers’ specification
• Preparing dimensional drawings, assembly instructions and complex drawings of projects
• Developing catalogue products improving functionality while keeping costs within budget
• Innovating new products that will aid the construction industry with their on-site tasks
• Assembling the necessary files to create a product from start to finish
• Analysing and testing of products, carrying out load tests and function tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will have:

• 2D and 3D CAD experience with Solidworks
• An engineering degree or similar qualifications or design experience with 2 years work experience
• Hydraulic, sheet metal or FEA experience would be highly desirable
• Knowledge of British Standards and designing products to meet these standards
• PDM experience within Solidworks
• A passion to learn and develop your skills.

Associated Benefits:

• 25 - 28k pa depending on experience
• Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 6.45am - 4.45pm with a 1.45pm finish on Fridays
