A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a local family run business who are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.

This professional and highly successful manufacturing company now requires a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis to visit client sites and repair and service plant machinery.

As the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be:

• Carrying our repairs, maintaining and Installing equipment - mechanical plant and machinery
• Liaising with customers and machine vendors to resolve problematic issues and troubleshooting
• Managing contractors whilst on-site to ensure site safety and security standards are kept to
• Reviewing and analysing data to identify areas of improvement
• Supporting the introduction of the new equipment including Training, Installation, Commissioning, Customer handover and Maintenance

To succeed as the Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer you will have:

• HNC or HND level or equivalent in an Electrical or Mechanical disclipine
• Confidence with troubleshooting on various IT platforms
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• A can-do and problem solving attitude
• Excellent work ethic

On-Site Engineer

This professional and highly successful engineering company now requires an On-Site Engineer on a permanent basis to visit client sites and repair and service non-mechanical plant machinery.

As the On-Site Engineer you will be:

• Carrying our repairs, servicing and setting up equipment at client sites - mainly non-mechanical plant and machinery
• Carrying out some welding repairs
• Able to work at heights on Construction sites
• Driving to sites around the UK - predominantly in the South East but possibly further afield - some nights away from home maybe required (paid)
• Recording all work activities and obtaining customer 'sign off'
• Responsible for maintenance of your vehicle, checking levels of all parts/kits needed, fuelling, cleaning, daily defect sheet etc.

To succeed as the On-Site Engineer you will have:

• Previous experience working with Plant machinery
• Previous field based experience
• CSCS card would be advantageous
• LOLER Trained and Certified is advantageous
• A mechanical mindset and have an engineering background
• Previous experience in welding
• A can-do and problem solving attitude
• Excellent work ethic

THE POSITION:

We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join the team on a temporary basis with duties including:

• TIG welding
• Welding to a high standard
• Working in a fast-paced environment to a high standard
• Housekeeping duties in the working area as required

To succeed as the TIG Welder Fabricator you will have:

• Experience working in TIG
• Ability to work under pressure
• A can-do and problem solving attitude
• Excellent work ethic

THE LOCATION:

Based in Basingstoke and easily accessible by car and public transport. Easy access from the M3 on-site parking available
