Reliability/Maintenance Engineer

£39000 - £39000 per annum
39k pa, enhanced pension with a company contribution up to 9%, 25 days annual leave, private medical insurance and free parking.

As the Reliability/Maintenance Engineer you will be working as part of a small team of this well-established business. The company is looking for someone to continue to develop and improve on their current strategy; there is huge opportunity to build on the existing foundations of the business. There is also an element of lone working within the role, so the company is looking for someone who is self-directed as well as being able to influence their team around them.

As the Reliability/Maintenance Engineer you will be:

• Reviewing both new and existing strategy according to the RCM approach and be able to identify and implement improvements
• Able to identify and analyse processes with the company and able to prioritise their importance using predictive tools and techniques
• Used to using Root Cause Analysis techniques so that you can find faults swiftly and efficiently. You will be the RCA champion and be willing to teach these methods to your team around you
• Used to working to KPI’s and using this method to increase the efficiency of the machines and the processes, including developing new methods to reduce redundant activity.
• Willing to coach and train others to ensure the new methods are effective and fully utilized

To succeed as the Reliability/Maintenance Engineer you will have:

• A formal engineering qualification preferably in mechanical engineering
• An RCM qualification
• A practical understanding of the P-F curve and 6 key failure pattern
• An ability to diagnose either mechanical or electrical faults through interpretation of data
• Previous experience working with CMM machines
• A good understanding on SAP and EXCEL
• High attention to detail
