Mechanical Design Engineer

This meticulous, hands on and highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer is focused on securing a permanent role as an in-house Design Engineer where they have the scope to add to the business product portfolio and grow and develop their own knowledge. With an agile and innovative mind-set, they are quick to understand design practices and relate them to products, plus they have gained in-depth operational knowledge using SolidWorks to create 2D and 3D models. As well as designing new products, this candidate is also used to rigorously testing their usability and functionality, ensuring they are aligned to all the relevant safety standards. Possessing a highly tenacious and intuitive nature, this individual is comfortable working alone or as part of a team; they enjoy working to KPIs and are used to working in fast paced and high pressure environments. This candidate is available on max 3 weeks’ notice. They drive with their own transport and are looking for a new challenging permanent opportunity.
